Subclass- 189:

 

A points-tested permanent Resident visa, visa issued to skilled workers who have not been sponsored by an Australia-based employer, family member or nominated by a state/territory. It is also known as “Skill Independent Migration Visa”. To get Subclass 189, applicants should score at least 65 points of 100 on the point tested scale

 

Subclass 189 Visa Requirements:     

 

  • Possess an occupation that is listed in Medium Long term strategic Skill list (MLTSSL)
  • Minimum English language proficiency
  • A score of a minimum of 65 points
  • Receive an invitation to apply
  • Under 45 years, when received an invitation to apply

The overall processing time for SubClass 189 Visa ranges from 8 to 9 months after the submission of the Skilled Independent Visa application.

 

Subclass-190 :The Skilled Nominated visa, It is granted to skilled migrant workers. Also known as a “State or Territory Nominated Visa”. Get a nomination from any of the state or territory of Australia; get benefitted by state sponsored additional points.

 

Requirements of Subclass 190:

           

  • Occupation should be listed in the Short term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).
  • Willing to live in Australian state/territory of nomination.
  • Must have a Registration of Interest (ROI) and be selected by that particular state.
  • Must have a minimum of 65 points .
  • Under 45 years
  • Proficient in English

 

Visa Processing Time:

The processing time for Australia SubClass 190 visa is 10 to 12 months.

 

Subclass 191:

 

This visa allows workers who hold a Subclass 491 visa and meet an income requirement to live and work in Australia permanently. This visa allows people who have lived and worked in designated regional areas of Australia to be eligible to live and work in Australia permanently. Applicants must have complied with the conditions of their eligible visa.

 

Requirements of Subclass 191:

 

 

  • Apply for PR after 3 years under Subclass -191
  • Occupation Should be in MLTSSL, STSOL, ROL
  • Relative or regional Sponsored
  • Restricted areas to work, study, live under this program: Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
  • Should require 50 points Minimum

 

Subclass 858: Global Talent visa

This is a permanent visa for people who have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in an eligible field.

 

Requirements of Subclass 858:

 

  • Proof that individual will benefit Australia. This will be required younger than 18 or older than 55 years
  • A statement of support from nominator
  • Proof of self-dependence
  • Submit proof that a functional level of English language proficiency

 

Subclass 186 VISA (ENS): Employee Nomination Scheme

This is a permanent visa for skilled foreign workers who have a nominating employer in Australia.

The Subclass 186 Visa has 3 streams:

 

  • Direct Entry Stream
  • Transition Stream
  • Agreement Stream

 

 

Subclass 187 VISA (RSMS): The 187 visa is a permanent visa for skilled foreign workers who have a nominating employer in a regional or low population growth area of Australia.

 

This permanent Regional Sponsored Migration Stream (RSMS) Subclass 187 Visa allows skilled overseas workers to live and work in a regional area of Australia.

187 Visa holders can:

  • Work in Australia indefinitely
  • Study in Australia
  • Travel to and from Australia for 5 years
  • Apply for Australian citizenship, When eligible

 

Subclass 888: Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa

 

This visa lets holders of a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) in the Business Innovation stream or the Business Innovation Extension stream or holders of a subclass 444 (Special Category) visa, or certain holders of a subclass 457 (Business Long Stay) visa, stay permanently in Australia.

 

The subclass 888 visa has two Eligibility Streams:

 

  1. The Business Innovation Stream
  2. The Investor Stream.

 

Common Criteria for both Eligibility Streams:

  • Hold a provisional Business Innovation and Investment visa
  • Meet the requirements of the visa (including the specific requirements for the stream in which you first applied)
