Provincial Nominee Programs

Each province and territory in Canada administers its own set of “streams,” which are immigration programs designed to target specific groups of individuals. These streams may focus on students, business professionals, skilled workers or semi-skilled workers.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) enable Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals seeking to immigrate to Canada and who express a desire to settle in a particular province.

Every Canadian province and territory, except Nunavut and Quebec, operates its own distinct Provincial Nominee Program.

Nominations issued by provinces under these Express Entry-aligned streams are referred to as ‘enhanced nominations.’ They provide Express Entry candidates with an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
